Palace on wheel operates every Wednesday from September till April every year. It does not operates in May,June, July and August which are actually the summer season in India.

01 Day/Wed Delhi - Jaipur 1745 hrs. Depart Delhi for Jaipur.
Dinner & overnight on Board.

02 Day/Thu Jaipur - Jaisalmer 0000 hrs
Arrive Jaipur 0730-0815 hrs Breakfast on board.

Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for the excellence of their design and decoration.

Lunch at Palace Hotel.

1430-1645 hrs
Afternoon tour of Jaipur known as "The Pink City of Rajasthan". Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic; the City Palace and its Museum, the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.

03 Day/Fri Jaisalmer - Jodhpur 0615 hrs

Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gadhi Sagar Tank.

Afternoon visit the Sand Dunes and a camel ride to view the sunset, as the sky is set on fire and Rajasthani folk musicians play haunting tunes. It can be an unforgettable experience.

Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur - gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathores of Marwa. Visit the Fort, rising up a hilly scrap, built on the advice of a hermit, which overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers. Also visit Mandor - the ancient capital of the State of Marwar. The cenotaphs of the former rulers are imposing and architecturally remarkable.

Game viewing in the sanctuary by jeeps / canter. Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary extends over an area of 392 sq kms of thick forests. The place abounds in scenic beauty, requisite refuge for both the carnivora and herbivora. The numerous valleys and flat hill tops form picturesque surroundings of the 13th century historical Ranthambore Fort. The Tiger and Leopard are the main predators found in this reserve. Hyena and Jackal are the scavengers, Sloth Bear and Wild Boar are the main carnivore. The main herbivores found in this park are spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Nilgai (blue bull) antelope, Chinkara (Indian gazelle) and the common Langur.

Later visit Chittaurgarh. There is no place in Rajasthan with a history more romantic than that of Chittaurgarh. The centre of Rajput resistance against Mughal rule. It was here that Sisodia Rajput warriors on many occasions gave their lives preferring death to dishonor and surrender. This city was sacked atleast three times before it was finally abandoned and the capital moved to Udaipur. The glory of Chittaurgarh is the Tower of Victory-Jaya Stambha erected by Rana Khumbha to commemorate his victory over Mohammed Khilji of Malwa in 1440. Its nine stories are covered with sculptures of Hindu divinities. Dinner & overnight on board.

06 Day/Mon Chattaurgarh - Udaipur - Bharatpur 0645-0715 hrs

Morning, sightseeing tour of Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies; and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens; the Jagdish Temple; and the local folk museum.

07 Day/Tue Bharatpur - Agra Delhi 0600 hrs

Visit to National Bird Sanctuary. Bharatpur (Ghana) once the former hunting preserve of the royal family of Bharatpur, the sanctuary is home to storks and nearly every other kind of bird imaginable. You'll see more than 250 different species nesting on the tops of trees and along the roadside, as well as snakes, lizards, exotic fish and monkeys. Lucky visitors can spot the rare Siberian Crane that migrates to this preserve annually. Also found are chital, black buck, deer and other varieties of animals.

Visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are still in pristine condition. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the impressive Agra Fort, and of course, the most perfect architectural monument in the world -The Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The Taj is remarkable for its perfect proportion and rich pietra dura, with minute details executed with great skill. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build.

Indian national can pay in equivalent rupee amount.
Tour cost includes : travel, all meals, escorted site seeing tours with entrance fee.
Extra tariff for liqour, laundry, video camera entrance fee (where applicable), gratuity & all other items of personal nature.
Children between 5 to 12 years are to be charged 50% of the adult fare.
Children below 5 years are complimentry without bed.
The tour can also be booked for minimum of 4 days.

All disputes are subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only.
Booking Procedure
Booking will be confirmed on receipt of advance deposit only.
(1) We require 20% advance deposit to hold the booking.
(2) Balance 80% must reach us 30 days prior to tour departure date

Cancellation Rules & Charges
Bookings will be cancelled only on receipt of written requests.
Cancellation Charges will be
(1) 5% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 60 days prior to departure.
(2) 20% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 30-59 days prior to departure.
(3) 50% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 15-29 days before departure.
(4) 100% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled less than 14 days before departure.
